5. Inspect the cylinder
head bolt holes in the
block for accumulation
of water, oil or any
foreign material.
Clean the bolt holes
thoroughly and check
for damaged threads.
NOTE
The 3/4 inch (1.905 cm) diameter
cup pipe plug at the front end of
the head must be removed prior to
installation to prevent blocking
the coolant flow out of the head.
