3. Flapper valve at bottom of bowl does not open sufficiently to evacuate wastes.
Observe waste evacuation.
Remove commode and adjust arm and cup flapper valve; check for leakage before
replacing commode.
4. Stopper does not close quickly.
Observe operation of stopper.
Check and adjust pedal linkage and check spring force. Lubricate linkage if
necessary.
