7. Poor contact - valve feeler bulb to suction line.
Good thermal contact between the bulb and the suction line is essential for proper operation of the expansion valve.
The bulb should be securely fastened to a clean, straight horizontal run of the suction line, fastened tightly with two
clamps. The bulb should be located on the side of the suction line, not on the bottom.
