2-83. PEAK BALLAST FILLING (Cont).
e. On Deck - Forward.
(1)
Remove deck access plate (1) at frame 11 1/2.
(2)
At forward fire station, attach hose (2) to 'fire plug (3).
(3)
Insert hose in deck access.
(4)
Open valve (4) at fire station.
(5)
Fill tank as required.
NOTE
The peak ballast tank capacity is 2830 gallons (10711.6 liters).
