2-94. BILRF OPAINING WITH BILGE PUMP AND FIRE PUMP (Cont).
Refer to FO-50 and proceed as follows.
b. Forward Engine Room.
(1)
Place the bilge pump in operation. Refer to paragraph 2-87 for procedure.
(2)
If the section forward of frame 56 is to be drained:
(a) Rotate remote control valve (1) clockwise.
(b) Place flow control valve (2) in the open position.
(3)
If the section forward of frame 48 is to be drained:
(a) Rotate remote control valve (1) counter-clockwise.
(b) Place flow control valve (2) in the closed position.
c. Aft Engine Room.
(1)
Place the fire pump in operation.
(a) Refer to paragraph 2-78 for operation of the fire pump.
(b) Refer to paragraph 2-92 for operation of the fire pump andeductor.
