2-116. SYSTEM ALARMS (Cont).
The red target and bell indicates alarm in area indicated.

To stop the bell, proceed as follows:
After an alarm - Turn the circuit OFF as soon as possible. This will restore the alarm system to normal.
If not, the next alarm will show only the RED indicator. This indication might be overlooked in time of
stress or excitement.
(1) Place switch (2) in the OFF position.
(2) The bell will stop ringing.
(3) The SUPERVISORY TARGET will indicate yellow.
(4) The ALARM TARGET will indicate gray.
When the alarm has been corrected:
(1) Place switch (3) in the NORMAL position.
(2) The SUPERVISORY TARGET will indicate gray.
(3) The alarm system has been restored to normal operation.
NOTE
If the switch is placed in the OFF position and the GROUND NEG LINE lamp is lit - there is a ground.
