Check that power plug (1) on pedestal is plugged in.

Rotate switch (2) to turn on searchlight.
2-148. SIGNALING.
a.
To use the searchlight for signaling proceed as follows:
The searchlight becomes very hot with prolonged use. Touch it
on heat-insulated training and shutter handles, or use gloves.
b. The beam is highly directional and the searchlight must be carefully aimed at target especially for long
range daylight signaling.
