Water lift 16 to 20 feet (4.9 to 6.1 meters).

(a)

Install foot valve (1) on intake hose (2).

(b)

Attach line (3) to foot valve (1).

(c)

Operate fire pump.

(4)

Water lift greater than 20 feet (6.1 meters):

(a)

Install eductor (1) to intake hose (2).

(b)

Install discharge hose (3) to eductor (1).

(c)

Install discharge hose (4).
