The oil pressure in the system must be released prior to servicing the hand pump or any other components
of the system, to prevent possible injury to personnel or damage to equipment.
b. Release pressure in the
hydraulic starting system.
c.
Disconnect hydraulic lines
(1) and (2) to the hand pump
(3).
d. Remove the attaching bolts
(4) and lockwashers (5) and
lift pump from its mounting
(6).
