g. Apply grease to the steel face
f each thrust washer (11 and
25). T-hen, place a thrust
washer against the inner end
of the cam and balance shaft
front end bearing (12 and 26)
("B" engines). The steel face
of the thrust washer must be
against the bearing.
h. Install the cam and balance
shaft front end bearings (12
and 26) with the screws (13
and 27) and lockwashers (14
and 28). Tighten the screws
to 35-40 lb-ft (47.5-54.2 Nm)
