WARNING
Dry cleaning solvent, P-D-680, used to clean parts, is potentially dangerous to personnel and
property. Avoid repeated or prolonged skin contact. Do not use near open flame or excessive
heat. Flash point of solvent is 100- 138 (38o- 59 ).

CAUTION
The sealed type pump shaft and bearing must not be immersed in cleaning solvent since dirt
may be washed in and the fluid cannot be entirely removed.
Clean parts in cleaning solvent
Fed. Spec P-D-680 and dry
thoroughly.

chips, cracks, or breaks.
b. Inspect threaded parts for
crossed or stripped threads.
c. Inspect body for cracks or
breaks.
d. Inspect cover for cracks or
breaks.
e. Inspect spring for cracks or
loss of tension.
