NOTE
For a more simplified removal of the blower assembly; the governor drive, fresh
water pump, fuel oil pump, and blower drive shaft cover should be removed with
the blower as an assembly.
a. Drain the cooling
system.
NOTE
Each governor has an identification plate located on the control housing,
containing the governor assembly number, type, idle-range rpm, and drive ratio.
The maximum engine speed, not shown on the identification plate, is stamped on
the option plate attached to the valve rocker cover.
