When removing the flywheel housing bolts, note the location of the various bolts
and washers so they may be reinstalled in their proper location.
2. Flywheel
a. Cut and remove two

b. Remove six bolts (5) and

d. Obtain four pilot studs.
Studs are 1/2-13
Insert in holes where

screws were removed.
e. Remove two bolts (9)
Bolts are 3/8-16
and lockwashers (10)
X 1 lg.
which go through the
rear end plate from the
front and thread into
the housing.
f. Remove four bolts (11)
Bolts are 3/8-24
and lockwashers (12).
X 4 lg.
g. Remove eight bolts (13)
Bolts are 3/8-24
and lockwashers (14).
X 5 lg.
