NOTE

Maintenance Instructions for starting system reservoir

are similar to that of the ramp system reservoir (para.

1. REMOVE 40 MICRON T-TYPE

FILTER HOUSING

WARNING

The starting system is a high pressure hydraulic system.

Relieve pressure in system by opening the accumulator

blowdown valve before servicing. Failure to comply

may result in injury to personnel.

NOTE

Have a container ready to catch oil from the filter.

Close suction line shutoff valve (1).

Unscrew filter housing (2) from filter

cap (3).

c. Remove gasket (4), filter element

(5), seat guide (6) and spring (7)

from filter housing.
