(3) Equipment DoesNot Perform. If the equipment does not perform as required, refer to Chapter 3
under Troubleshooting for possible problems. Report any malfunctions or failures on the proper DA
Form 2404, or refer to DA Pam 738-750.
(4) First Time Operator. Perform weekly as well as before operations PMCS if:
(a) You are the assigned operator and have not operated the item since the last weekly.
(b) You are operating the item for the first time.
(5) Equipment Is Not Ready/Available If: Column. This column tells you en and why your equipment

cannot be used.
NOTE
The terms "ready/available" and "mission capable" refer to the same status:
Equipment is on hand and is able to perform its combat mission (See DA
Pam 738-750).
(6) Leakage Classifications. Leakage definitions for operator/crew PMCS shall be classified as follows:
(a) Class I: seepage of fluid (as indicated by wetness or discoloration) not great enough to form
drops.
(b) Class II: leakage of fluid great enough to form drops but not enough to cause s ropdrip

from the item being checked/inspected.
(c) Class III: leakage of fluid great enough to form drops that fall from the item being
checked/inspected.
