30. Turbocharger Leaks (Engine Oil in Fuel).

STEP 1.

Turbocharger turbine seal leak.

Replace turbocharger. Refer to para. 2-19.

31. Engine Vibration, Excessive.

STEP 1.

Check for loose mounting bolts.

Tighten mounting bolts.

STEP 2.

Check if engine idle speed too low.

Increase engine idle speed.

STEP 3.

Check alignment with marine gear.

Refer to TM 55-1905-223-24-2.

STEP 4.

Bent propeller shaft.

Refer to TM 55-1905-223-24-18.
