DISASSEMBLY
a. Remove four hexagon head capscrews (8) and lockwashers (7), retaining the solenoid (93 to the valve
body (14). Remove solenoid.
b. Remove override knob (1) and pipe plug (2) (if installed) from the valve body (14).
c. Remove access cover (6) and preformed packing (10). Discard preformed packing.
d. Remove spring tension washer (5) and valve disk (11) from the actuator housing (4).
e. Remove actuator disk (12) from the housing (4). Remove straight shaft (13) and preformed packing (3).
Discard preformed packing.
REPAIR
a. Use digital multimeter to check the continuity of the solenoid. If defective windings are found, replace
the solenoid.
