Remove the plate from the crankshaft.
(l)
Using a square head drift, install the new dowels (9) until they touch the bottom of the
hole in the block.
(3) Check the adapter plate mounting holes for cracks using thedye penetrant method.
NOTE
Do not attempt to disassemble the mounting plate.
