INITIAL SETUP
Tools
Equipment Condition
Tool kit, general mechanic's,
At Ship Service Switchboard, set
BILGE/BALLAST circuit breaker to the
Tool kit, welder, 5180-00-734-0661
OFF position. Set FIRE PUMP 1 and
Torch outfit, cutting and welding
FIRE PUMP 2 circuit breakers to the
medium duty, oxygen and acetylene,
OFF position. Tag switches "Out of
Service - Do Not Operate."

Warning tags, Item 1, Appendix C
*Ensure system is turned OFF and
tagged to prevent operation during
maintenance. Generated pressure
could cause injury.
* Use extreme care when breaking system
connections. Escaping pressure
and/or fluids could cause injury.
* Clean up spills immediately. Spills
create an unsafe working area.
Refer to paragraph 3-217 for procedures.
