INSPECTION
a. Remove belt guard (5, FIGURE 2-21, Sheet 1) by removing two hexhead capscrews (2), lockwashers
(3), and flat washers (4).
b. Turn idler groove pulley (18, FIGURE 2-21, Sheet 1) by hand to check ease of rotation. If pulley does
not turn easily, replace the idler pulley assembly (32, FIGURE 2-21, Sheet 3). Refer to REMOVAL
steps of this procedure.
