NOTE
Do not use any kind of lubricant to install the seal. The oil seal must be installed
with the lip of the seal and the crankshaft clean and dry.
(l) Push the oil seal over the installation sleeve onto the crankshaft and remove the sleeve (FIGURE 3-
95) .
(m) Install the pins in the crankshaft oil seal drive.
(n) Use the crankshaft oil seal driver to install the oil seal in the rear cover (FIGURE 3-96) .
