STOP the pump as described in steps 1-3.

Drain the pump by removing the pump drain plug.

Disconnect the suction and discharge hoses.
7.
Replace the hose connection caps and drain cocks after draining all the water.
8.
Apply silicone lubricant through the pump's inlet fitting while slowly pulling the recoil starter rope (figure 2, item 1) to
lubricate the pump's internal components.
9.
Stow the portable pump, hoses, and accessories.
