2-101. SEWAGE SYSTEM.
a.
The sewage system consists of the following:
o
Urinal
o
Two water closets
o
Overboard discharge
o
Two discharge pumps
o
Two macerator pumps
o
Air pump and
o
Associated valves and piping
h.
The urinal and water closets are flushed with fresh water. Refer to paragraph 2-73 for operation of the fresh water
system.
Federal law prohibits discharge of sewage into restricted water.

The procedure for initial start-up and normal operation (Figure FO-54) of the sewage system is as follows:
a.
Engine Access Room.

Place circuit breaker #12 on power distribution panel (P-400) in the ON position.
