3-77. WATER MANIFOLD - MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS.
Cooling water, leaving the cylinder head through an opening over each exhaust port, enters the water
manifold. The front section of the water manifold is connected to the thermostat housing. The aft section of
the water manifold contains a flexible by-pass hose to the exhaust manifold, where it will leave the exhaust
manifold and flows to the oil cooler.
