Uneven running or frequent stalling (Cont).

Check for faulty injectors.
a.
Check the injector timing and the position of the injector racks. Refer to paragraph
3-87.
b.
Erratic engine operation may also be caused by leaking injector spray tips. Replace
the faulty injectors.
Refer to paragraph 3-71.
Step 4.
Check for low compression pressures within the cylinders.
Consult the Hard Starting Table 3-23 if compression pressures are low.
