and dashes will appear in the line above the ID number. The first dash will be flashing.

Press the ENT key (4) to clear the entry. The entry is cleared.
NOTE
To transfer the entry, a name must be entered in order to transfer the selected entry.
A name may be one or more letters or numbers and may include spaces. At least one
character must be entered. Names are entered by pressing the number key that is
associated with the letters of the alphabet printed above them. The number for that key
may be used as part of the name also.
7.
Press the appropriate number keys to enter a name. When all information is displayed correctly, press the ENT
key (4). The new name and its corresponding ID number have been added to the DSC calling directory also.
