SEARCHING DIRECTORIES
NOTE
To search a directory, first select the appropriate mode.
1.
Press the FNC key (3) and TEL key (1) to access the TELEPHONE and COAST STATION directories.

Press the FNC key (3) and DSC key (2) to access the DSC CALLING and GROUP CALLING directories.

Press the RIGHT ARROW key (2) as necessary to select the desired directory. Press the UP ARROW key (5) or
DOWN ARROW key (6) to position the selection bar on SEARCH in the directory menu.

Press the ENT key (4). ENTER UP TEN CHARACTERS will appear in the display. Ten dashes will also appear
on the lower line of the display. The first character position will be flashing.

Press the appropriate key to enter one or more characters of the name to be found. Letters are entered by pressing
the number key that is associated with the letters of the alphabet printed above them. The number for that key may
be used as part of the name also.
