CANCEL DISTRESS USING THE INMARSAT-C SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM
1.
Using the same procedures as those for e-mail, FAX and TELEX, notify the appropriate Rescue Coordination
Center (RCC) to cancel the alert by sending a distress priority message through the same INMARSAT-C Coast
Earth Station (CES).
2.
Follow the example of DISTRESS MESSAGE cancellation as shown below.
