TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE
MF/HF DIGITAL SELECTIVE CALLING (DSC) WATCH RECEIVER WILL NOT RECEIVE
DISTRESS TRANSMISSIONS
SYMPTOM
MF/HF DSC watch receiver will not receive distress transmissions.
MALFUNCTION
MF/HF DSC watch receiver is not turned on.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Press the PWR button on the front control panel to turn on. The button will illuminate
when system is on.
MALFUNCTION
MF/HF DSC watch receiver antenna cable is loose or not connected to the J9 antenna connector on back
of the 9701 console.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Connect or tighten antenna cable connector as required.
MALFUNCTION
MF/HF DSC watch receiver antenna cable is loose or not connected to the 23 ft DSC antenna.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Tighten or connect the antenna cable connector as required.
