Using wrench loosen locking nuts (14) on scoop control rods (15) (located outboard above hydrojets).

Using wrench turn fixed nut (16) to lengthen or shorten rods until scoops are alined with scoop alinement indi-

Place scoop control (17) in full AHEAD position.

Check that scoop (18) is firmly against cast stop (19) on rotating outlet.
Close hydrojet hatches.

Close steering unit hatches.
