PARTS/MATERIALS: Intake Strainer
REMOVE:
NOTE
This procedure is applicable to the port and starboard raw water intake strainers and may
be done in or out of water.
Open and secure hydrojet hatches
1.
(refer to paragraph 3-154).
2.
Unclip retaining clamp (1).
Remove rim and lid (2).
3.
Pull out strainer element (3).
4.
5.
Clean element as required.
6.
Check that O-rings (4) are not dam-
aged. Replace if necessary.
INSTALL:
1. Push clear element (3) back into body
of strainer.
2. Replace lid (2).
3.
Close retaining clamp (1).
4.
Close hydrojet hatches.
