Use black dipstick to get fluid from
battery cell.

Place end of black dipstick in opening
of window cover, deposit a few drops
on measuring window. Repeat if nec-
essary.

Holding tester with eyepiece at your
eye look at bright light.
7.
Read specific gravity (battery charge)
at point between shaded and un-
shaded areas. (Full charged 1.280,
not more than 0.025 difference be-
tween cells.)
8.
Use cloth to clean and dry measuring
window and cover after testing each
battery cell.
