1. Inspect gear teeth for chipping or scoring.
2. Inspect for damage.
REPAIR
Repair is limited to the replacement of defective parts.
REPLACEMENT
1. Remove engine camshaft gear (4) (para 6-10).
2. Remove bolt (1) and washer (2).
3. Remove gear (3).
4. Install gear (3).
5. Install washer (2) and bolt (1).
6. Install camshaft gear (para 6-10)
