operating shaft with the flat on the
shaft registering with the flat sur-
face in the lever.
3. Support the operating lever, bearing
and shaft on the bed of an arbor
press with a steel support directly
under the center of the lever, then
press the operating shaft through the
bearing and lever until the end of
the shaft contacts the steel support.
NOTE
The upper end of the shaft must be flush with the top surface
of the lever.
