1. Install spring retainer

into position over the

pressure springs and
compress springs with
the use of two 3/8 inch
16 x 5 inches long,
fully-threaded screws and
nuts. Insert them through
the holes in the spring
retainer and into the
aligning tapped holes in
the pressure plate pro-
vided for this purpose.
2. Make certain to tighten
the bolts securely in the
pressure plate.
3. Draw nuts down against
the top of the spring
retainer to compress the
springs to overall height
of approximately 2 inches.
