2. Apply a loctite

sealant grade HV or

equivalent to the

full 360 circum-

ference of the plug

and thread the plug

into the tapped end

of the governor

weight housing.

3. Tighten the plug to

45 lb-ft (61.0 Nm)

NOTE

Rotate the governor weight assembly. If a bind

exists, remove the housing plug and check to

see if the weight shaft bearing is fully seated in

the governor housing.
