2-81. MAGAZINE SPRINKLER (Cont).
NOTE
The remote control shutoff valve (2) is connected by a reach rod to
an access plate on the vehicle deck .
(3) Supply valve (3) must be rotated clockwise.
NOTE
The supply valve (3) is used for auxilliary source of raw water.
(4) Rotate the shutoff valve (4) counter-clockwise.

Pilot House.
(1)
Place the alarm switchboard in operation (refer to paragraph 2-113).

Supervisory targets
gray - normal
yellow - off
(3)
Alarm targets
gray - normal
red - trouble in magazine ALARM BELL WILL RING
d. Equipment and Repair Parts Stores (2-40-0-A).
(1) To test the sprinkler alarm, rotate test drain valve (5) counter-clockwise.
(2)
To drain the magazine, rotate drain valve (6) counter-clockwise.
e. Remote Shutoff - Vehicle Deck.
(1)
Remove cover on deck access plate.
(2)
Insert "T" wrench and rotate clockwise.
NOTE
The remote shutoff valve (2) is locked in the open
position. This lock is in the equipment and repair
parts stores (2-40-0-A).
