1. Steering pump noisy.
Check pump intake for partial obstruction.
a. Service intake strainers.
b. Check internal flow path for cleanliness. Clean if required.
2. Oil too hot.
Check for relief valve leaking at high pressure.
NOTE
Release pressure in system prior to performing
maintenance on the relief valve.
Remove and replace relief valve.
Refer to paragraph 5-7.6.
RAMP HOIST HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
Hydraulic pump noisy.
Step 1. Check pump intake for partial obstruction.
