5-5. THROTTLE CONTROLS - PILOTHOUSE.
a. Each propulsion unit consists of two engines connected by clutches to a common gear box. The throttle
adjustment is made so that each engine of a twin unit will carry its share of the load.
b. This Landing Craft is equipped with a model MD engine control system which consists of a pilothouse control
head, terminal blocks, elbows, engine control unit, conduit and cable as shown below. The twin engine control is
