Loosen the two bolts (1 and 2)

on each lifter bracket (3 and
4) which attach the balance
weight cover and flywheel
housing to the front and rear
end plates.

Remove capscrews (5) and
lockwashers (6) from expansion
tank vent.
c.
Remove expansion tank vent (7).
d.
Remove bolts (8), and lock-
washers (9) from lifter
bracket (3).
