Remove feeler gage. Hold the
pushrod with a 5/16" wrench and
tighten the locknut with a 1/2
inch wrench.
7.
Recheck the clearance. At this
time, if the adjustment is
correct, the 0.011 inch feeler
gage J9708 will pass freely
between the valve stem and the
rocker arm, but the 0.013 inch
feeler gage will not.
8.
Check and adjust the remaining
valves in the same manner as
above.
