replace the
spring.
b. Replace the seals, and any
damaged or defective drive
shafts. Replace a damaged
or defective drive shaft
and gear as an assembly.
c. Replace defective relief valve.
ASSEMBLY
6.
Fuel
a. Install dowell pins (20).
If removed.
Pump
b. Lubricate the lips of the oil
seals (19) with a light coat
of vegetable shortening.
Then install the oil seals in
the pump body as follows:
1.
Place the inner oil seal
on the pilot of installer
handle J1508-8 so that
the lip of seal will face
in the same direction as
the original seal.
