The thrust bearing is especially designed to absorb thrust loads; therefore,
looseness between mating parts does not indicate excessive wear.
g. Slide thrust bearing (70) and
riser (71) from shaft (67).
h. Remove ball bearing (69) from
weight housing.
NOTE
Mark weights and carrier with a center punch for identification. Note position of
thin washers between weights so that parts can be replaced in their original
position.
