7. Helm Unit
Dry cleaning solvent, P-D-680, used to clean parts, is potentially dangerous to personnel
and property. Avoid repeated or prolonged skin contact. Do not use near open flame or
excessive heat. Flash point of solvent is 100 -138 (3859 ).

a. Clean all parts, except
packing, in cleaning solvent
Fed. Spec. P-D-680.
b. Set parts on clean paper
towels to dry.
c.
Slightly scored parts can be
cleaned with 600 grit
abrasive paper by hand
rubbing only.
