NOTE
If the oil transfer sleeve (43) in the reverse gear housing is worn excessively or
damaged, it should be removed as outlined in steps f thru h below.
f. Support the reverse gear
housing on the bed of a
hydraulic press. The
forward face of the
reverse gear housing must
be facing down.
g. Place a 2-1/2 inches O.D.
brass bar approximately 4
inches long on top of the
oil transfer sleeve and
under the ram of the
press.
