Close all valves in Lube Oil Purification and Transfer Piping System

Start Port Main Engine.
(a) At Main Engine Control Panel (FIGURE 2-138), START AIR PRESSURE gauge
(3) needle indicates 125 psi.
(b) Set REMOTE START CUTOUT SWITCH (6) for local operation.
(c) Set POWER SWITCH EMERGENCY STOP (5) switch to UP position.
(d) Press PUSH TO START ENGINE START (4) pushbutton.
NOTE
Engine should start within 10 seconds.
(e) Release PUSH TO START ENGINE START (4) pushbutton.
