(1) Remove battery vent and fill plugs.
(2) Insert thermometer into one cell, ensure the
thermostat bulb is completely immerse in
electrolyte.
(3) Draw electrolyte into hydrometer until float is
floating freely and electrolyte in barrel is free
of air bubbles.
