Pump Assembly (Reduction Gear Cooling Water) .
I n s t a l l nipple with attached fittings at top of pump (3).

b.
Install adapter with attached fittings on pump casing.
Position pump and motor baseplate (8) on foundation with mounting screw holes
c.
aligned.
Secure motor (2) to foundation with four hexhead capscrews (4), washers (5)
d.
lockwashers (6) and hex plain nuts (7).
Connect suction piping at union on front end of pump.
e.
Connect discharge piping at union located on top of pump.
f.
Open pump suction and discharge valves.
g.
Remove tag and connect electrical leads at junction box (1) on motor.
h.
Restore power to pump assembly.
