Remove spacer (7) and preformed packing (8).

Remove preformed packing (9) from housing (14).
Remove retainer (10) and gasket (11) from piston (12).
f.
Remove preformed packing (13).

REPAIR
Repair at this level of maintenance is by replacement of preformed packings (8,
9, and 13) and gasket (11).
ASSEMBLY
a. Install preformed packing (13).
b.
Install gasket (11) in piston (12).
I n s t a l l retainer (10).
c.
Install preformed packing (9) in housing (14).
d.
Install preformed packing (8) and spacer (7).
e.
Install valve body (6) on housing (14).
f.
Install bearing assembly (5) on valve body (6).
Install stem (4), lockwasher (3), stop stem (2), and machine screw (1).
