REMOVAL
WARNING
Scuttle is heavy. To prevent personal
injury at least two soldiers should handle
scuttle.
Open scuttle (1, FIGURE 2-180).

Remove cylindrical pin (4) from hinge pad.
b.
Remove flat washers (2) from hinge pad.
c.
d.
Remove brass bushings (3) from scuttle (1).
Remove scuttle (1) from closure.
e.
